PATH is a comprehensive Community Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Center that offers a wide range of services and supports to meet the needs of our community in Northeast Philadelphia. We are committed to helping individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with an intellectual disability. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide assistance and hands-on skill building in all areas of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, cooking, nutrition, and household maintenance. You will also assist individuals in maintaining good health and assure their safety in the home.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $18.00 per hour, 9 paid holidays, 10 paid vacation days in the first year, 15 days in the second year, and 20 days in the fifth year and beyond. We also offer excellent health insurance, 12 paid sick days per year, and a retirement/pension plan at no cost to you.

Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who are willing to make a difference in the lives of people with an intellectual disability. You will need a high school diploma/GED, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Your work will be active and performed within the individual's home and in the community. You may be required to lift and/or transfer supports for individuals to ensure their mobility and safety.
