Job Summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced IT Application Analyst - Payroll to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, training, and supporting the Lawson Payroll modules. This role requires minimal supervision and involves exercising independent judgment and discretion in carrying out day-to-day support functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, train, and support the Lawson Payroll modules
• Perform complex design and analysis tasks related to hospital business operations
• Act as a mentor to other team members
• Partner with Payroll Directors at hospitals and their customers to analyze work process designs, flows, and improvements
• Serve as technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas
• Assist subject matter experts by ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of Payroll experience required
• Strong knowledge of Lawson modules, including Payroll, Absence Management, ESS, MSS, Crystal Report Writing, and Add-ins
• Proven experience in Payroll processing and strong understanding of pay practices, pay codes, deductions codes, union dues, etc.
• Experience with Lawson HCM system full cycle implementation, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Kronos or JBDev time clocking system required
• Knowledge of developing interfaces with third-party vendors a plus

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $67,392.00 to $124,800.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
