Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team at Koa Restoration & Maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting our team members between Hilo and Waikoloa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety First: Safely operate company-owned vans and other designated vehicles, adhering to all traffic rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Route Planning: Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely drop-off and pick-up.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain and fuel vehicles as needed, keeping them clean and in good working condition.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of drop-offs and pick-ups using appropriate tracking systems or paperwork.
  • Communication: Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members to ensure successful transportation.
  • Customer Service: Address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to provide excellent customer service.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols, including those related to safety, security, and confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Driver or similar role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer Service: Customer-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
About the Job:

This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $18.00.
