Electrical Engineer

Cordoba Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in California. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing engineering and technical expertise to support our Gas sector projects.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical reports, documentation, and calculations to support project planning and execution.
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas projects.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and profitable completion of work.
- Review and produce design drawings, including one-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, conduit drawings, wiring diagrams, and control panel elevations.
- Perform power load studies and voltage drop calculations to ensure safe and efficient electrical system operation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and clients to ensure effective project execution and communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 3-5 years of electrical engineering experience required.
- Understanding of SCADA, instrumentation, communications, and network engineering preferred.
- Experience with commissioning and/or field engineering time highly preferred.
- California Electrical PE License preferred.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) a plus.
- Competitive hourly rate: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour.
- Hybrid work arrangement: 3-4 days onsite in Chatsworth, Ontario, Santa Ana, or San Diego office.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
- Physical requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check.
