Spa Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Spa Massage Therapist to join our team at Grand Casino. As a Spa Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for administering professional spa services to guests, utilizing your knowledge and providing services based on your licensing and/or certifications.

• Receive guests on time for their service in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide consistent professional treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Properly open and close each shift according to Standard Operating Procedures and Spa protocols.
• Properly care for equipment, use proper sanitation, and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Provide accurate and detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, treatment contraindications, facility features, and hours of operation.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and/or discounts available in the Spa or on the property.
• React promptly to guest requests, complaints, or inquiries professionally, courteously, and promptly reporting to a supervisor if needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
• Assist in all areas of the spa operation, including locker room and fitness center as needed, as requested by management.

• Massage Certification from an accredited Massage therapy program and/or an Active Minnesota Cosmetology, Esthetics, or Nail Technician Operators License.
• Previous spa experience preferred.
• Must be able to secure a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
