Job Overview

Komatsu is seeking a skilled OD Grinder to join our team in a manufacturing role that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of grinding machine operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to grind outside diameters of parts to blueprint tolerances, as well as grinding shoulder faces to maintain overall part length.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and follow production instructions and quality control procedures
  • Set up and qualify grinding machine tooling
  • Load parts onto the machine and run them through using established procedures
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet print specifications
  • Remove parts from the machine and prepare them for the next operation
  • Document and track production progress
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
