Job Title: Credentialing Operations Specialist

About the Role:

eMDs is seeking a skilled Credentialing Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our credentialing department, you will be responsible for preparing provider enrollment applications, demographic updates, and tracking metrics for eligible providers.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the credentialing and provider enrollment process. You will work closely with our Director of Credentialing and CVO to ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to provide top-notch support to our Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Credentialing Account Managers in ensuring timely completion of provider enrollment applications.
  • Compile and maintain current and accurate data for all providers.
  • Monitor application submissions and follow up as needed.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base for payer requirements and forms.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and mailing tasks as required.
  • Maintain copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, and other required credentialing documents.
  • Prepare and send provider demographic updates.
  • Track license and certification expirations for timely renewals.
  • Generate and send sign pages/application to clients.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the credentialing and provider enrollment process.
  • Able to organize and prioritize work, manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to research and analyze data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and external contacts.

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred or two years of relevant credentialing experience.

Language Skills:

Employees are required to speak, read, and write English.

Salary Estimate: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
