As a key member of our leadership team, the Vice President of Operations will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and oversee all aspects of our Technical Operations and Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the COO to define the strategic direction for Technical and Integrated Operations.
  • Utilize analytical insights to drive operational excellence and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for our fleet.
  • Ensure the safety and efficiency of all IOCC functions, maintaining operational integrity daily.
  • Foster the growth and development of leaders within the Technical Operations and IOCC teams.
  • Establish and uphold technical safety and airworthiness standards in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Identify and execute strategies to improve reliability, cycle time, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee all maintenance activities related to the aircraft fleet, engines, and components, while managing relationships with OEM and MRO providers.
  • Analyze operational constraints and provide feedback to enhance planning and execution.
  • Continuously assess workflows and implement process improvements.
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations and Director of Maintenance to resolve issues and ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage technical and operational systems, along with analytical tools.
  • Provide inspiring leadership that motivates team members to achieve their highest potential.
  • Encourage leadership development through consistent feedback and support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the airline industry.
  • Seven (7) years in a leadership role within an airline environment.
  • Proven experience leading a diverse workforce.
  • Expertise in Excel, Skywise, and predictive analytics tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fleet technical management and regulatory requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of airline operations.
  • Authorization to work in the United States as per the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Current passport with unrestricted travel capability.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to emergencies on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of Power BI or Tableau reporting tools.
  • Experience collaborating with the MRO community.

  • Strong time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a positive work environment.
