Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct supervision, care, and daily living skills direction to intellectually disabled adolescents in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide positive and appropriate intervention, limit-setting, response, problem-solving, and guidance when needed
  • Document patient/resident treatment plans and interventions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Respond to children in a caring and mature manner while demonstrating sound professional boundaries
  • Assist in management of aggressive behavior
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field of study preferred
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
