We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Firmware Engineer to join our team at Vertiv. This role will involve providing technical expertise in the development and support of multiple Linux-based platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess broad and deep knowledge in various technologies such as networking, communications, kernel drivers, and security. They will be responsible for requirements analysis, project management, full lifecycle software application development, documentation, product testing, and leadership.

Key requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, and 8+ years of experience in a software development role. The candidate should also have 5+ years of experience in software development for Linux-based platforms and 8+ years of experience using the C/C++ programming language.

The successful candidate will be familiar with software programming languages, frameworks, and subsystems, including C++, C, C#, JavaScript, Python, Go, Perl, Shell, and Linux kernel, device drivers, filesystems, networking, serial communications, and real-time operating systems (RTOS). They will also have experience with infrastructure and application development using technologies and architectures such as IP networking, serial communications, protocols, and platforms.
