Electronic Systems Quality Engineer

Azure Summit Technology is a leading provider of multi-channel software defined radio products, signal processing solutions, and end-to-end mission payloads and systems for advanced RF applications, including EW, radar, communications, and multi-mode RF operations.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our production team at our Melbourne, Florida facility with occasional overnight travel to our headquarters building in Fairfax, Virginia, and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement quality programs to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal product quality
- Develop and maintain accurate records of board lots, work orders, etc., related to PCB hard rejects, soft rejects, and grey area boards
- Collaborate with team members and third-party suppliers on quality issues while ensuring quality while maintaining good relations
- Analyze and improve quality processes and procedures
- Support review of adequacy reviews for flow down of QA requirements to implementing documents and quality affecting processes
- Develop and maintain quality system processes, such as records management and document control, control of electronic data, software development and control, etc.
Requirements
- US citizenship due to contract requirement
- Ability to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance due to contract requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience working within an ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS environment
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
