This role will be located in Melbourne, FL.

You will perform as a member of an interdisciplinary team on a key effort to develop novel and innovative solutions to advanced technical problems.

The successful candidate will contribute to the overall development of Electronic Warfare subsystems, including developing functional architectures, analyzing performance, and verifying requirements.

Key responsibilities include leading and/or supporting the development and integration of electronic warfare subsystems and components, performing requirements development, analysis, maturation, and implementation, and conducting detailed trade studies.

You will also collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders, manage technical aspects of supplier/subcontractor relationships, and identify/planning/executing informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements.

A successful EW Engineer has good leadership skills, understands the scope of the work, and consistently brings up concerns, issues, and risks to program and technical leadership.

The selected engineer will be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Lead and/or support development and integration of electronic warfare subsystems and components
  • Requirements development, analysis, maturation, and implementation
  • Performing functional and performance analyses
  • Conducting detailed trade studies
  • Performing risk analysis and developing mitigation plans

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.

Must have an active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years).

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with NG Systems, Experience designing, developing, integrating, and/or testing RF equipment for airborne platforms, Experience in decomposing, deriving, allocating, and tracing requirements from system to component level.

Salary: $118,600 - $178,000.

The estimated salary range represents a general guideline based on the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
