Lead Carpenter

As a Lead Carpenter at Ground Builders, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of carpentry projects at customer properties. This will involve coordinating with project managers, leading a crew, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required standards.

• Install projects according to plan and specifications
• Coordinate the delivery of materials to maintain project momentum
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and implement solutions
• Communicate with project managers to schedule additional support as needed
• Maintain a safe, productive, and tidy work site
• Address personnel issues in a timely and professional manner
• Train crew members on safe and proper work methods
• Communicate with customers as required
• Maintain a clean truck and trailer
• Ensure inventory is stocked in the job trailer

The work environment will consist of outdoor work in various seasonal conditions, including moderate to high heat, occasional rain, and cold and snow in winter.

You will be required to use power tools, ladders, trucks, and trailers to complete jobs. Hearing protection, eye protection, and respiratory protection will be provided and required in certain situations.

Working hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, during the season. However, you may be required to work later or earlier as needed, and Saturdays may be required. You will need to be available for snow events. Qualifications include a valid driver's license and 5+ years of carpentry experience. Strong customer service skills are also essential.
