Job Overview

Ground Builders is seeking a skilled Carpenter to lead our carpentry projects at customer properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and leading a crew to install carpentry projects on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install projects according to plan and specifications provided by the project manager
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise and implement solutions
  • Coordinate with the project manager to schedule additional help on site as needed
  • Maintain a safe, productive, and tidy work site at all times
  • Address personnel issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Train crew members on safe and proper methods of work completion
  • Communicate with customers as needed
  • Maintain a clean truck and trailer
  • Keep inventory stocked up in your job trailer
Work Environment

The work environment will consist of outdoor work in various seasonal elements, including moderate to high heat, occasional rain, and cold and snow in winter.

Equipment and Safety

Use of equipment to complete jobs includes power tools, ladders, trucks, and trailers. Hearing protection, eye protection, and respiratory protection will be provided and required.

Working Hours and Qualifications

Working days and hours are Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm, during the season. May need to work later or earlier as needed. Saturdays as needed. Must be available for snow events. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, 5+ years of carpentry experience, and strong customer service skills.
