Job Overview

Ground Builders is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our carpentry crew, you will be responsible for leading and installing carpentry projects at customer properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install projects to plan and specifications provided by the project manager
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials to ensure timely project completion
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise and coordinate with the project manager to schedule additional help as needed
  • Maintain a safe, productive, and tidy work site at all times
  • Address personnel issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Train crew members on safe and proper methods of work completion
  • Communicate with customers as needed
  • Maintain a clean truck and trailer
  • Keep inventory stocked in the job trailer
Work Environment

The work environment will consist of outdoor work in various seasonal elements, including moderate to high heat, occasional rain, and cold and snow in winter.

Equipment and Safety

You will be using a variety of equipment to complete jobs, including power tools, ladders, trucks, and trailers. Hearing protection, eye protection, and respiratory protection will be provided and required.

Working Hours and Qualifications

Working hours will be Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm, during the season. You may be required to work later or earlier as needed, and Saturdays may be required. A valid driver's license and 5+ years of carpentry experience are required. Strong customer service skills are also essential.
