Job Summary:

The Donation Attendant plays a vital role in maximizing store profitability by providing exceptional donor service, accurate donation records, and efficient material handling. This position is responsible for building skills and changing lives in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process donations efficiently and accurately, ensuring a positive experience for donors.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and balers, to move donations, trash, and salvage to the sales floor.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems, providing necessary assistance and supplies to team members.
  • Price and place donations directly into the store, ensuring accurate unit pricing and optimal product flow.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to established 5S principles and safety guidelines.
  • Interact with coworkers, shoppers, and donors in a professional and pleasant manner, consistently demonstrating Goodwill's Core Values.
Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Clear communication skills.
