Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Process Engineer for our Ecoservices division. This role is essential for monitoring and enhancing plant process performance, with a focus on improving safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and optimize plant processes to enhance performance.
2. Provide troubleshooting and technical support for production and assigned projects.
3. Investigate cost-reduction opportunities within plant operations.
4. Author project scopes and justifications for capital projects.
5. Assist in prioritizing maintenance tasks and executing small capital projects, including supervising field construction.
6. Participate in HSES (Health, Safety, Environmental, Sustainability) initiatives and meetings to address safety and environmental concerns.
7. Conduct incident investigations and implement necessary corrective actions.
8. Support planning and documentation of Turnaround activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in a chemical plant, refinery, or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices (OSHA, API, ASME, NFPA).
- Understanding of PSM/RMP regulations and ability to interpret equipment and process drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Work Environment:
This position operates within a continuous chemical manufacturing facility, requiring on-call availability on a rotational basis. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and comply with safety protocols.
