Radiologic Technologist and Medical Support Specialist

At Concentra, we are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist and Medical Support Specialist to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, making it an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Use radiation safety measures to protect patients and team members.
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments, providing exceptional patient care.
- Perform medical procedures, including DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, as ordered by the treating clinician.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
- Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
