The Omni Richmond Hotel is seeking a talented and reliable Server to join our Food and Beverage team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.



Responsibilities




  • Take and fulfill food and beverage orders to our guests' preferences
  • Perform cashier functions accurately, including closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
  • Comply with Omni's standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations
  • Use our Omni 'All In' app to promote employee recognition
  • Become proficient with the POS system and its various functions
  • Interact with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Provide information on the hotel's features and amenities
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the F&B Supervisor and/or F&B Manager


Requirements




  • Positive 'can-do' attitude, even under high-pressure, fast-paced situations
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, nights, holidays, and periods of high demand
  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Server required
  • Excellent customer-service, time-management, and communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to respond and act quickly
  • Working knowledge of food sanitation and food handling; ServSafe certified preferred
  • Understanding of VA ABC laws and regulations; TIPS certified preferred
  • Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position, such as standing for long periods of time
  • Must be 18 years or older
