Benefits Overview:
This role involves executing all facets of the finishing procedure for Dayton-Granger's components, which includes the application of masking prior to sanding or painting. The position also requires the removal of masks and the touch-up of painted surfaces before they undergo quality inspection.
Additionally, the technician will buff or polish any imperfections on units to ensure they meet our workmanship and industry standards for component finishing. Timely completion of production orders and related tasks according to customer specifications is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety protocols as outlined by company policies and the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
- Utilize hand and air tools proficiently, demonstrating the ability to mask, buff, and polish parts to meet precise industry standards.
- Exhibit strong visual inspection skills to identify and rectify imperfections, ensuring high-quality finishes on all products.
- Perform tasks that require physical stamina, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Commit to following all safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years in a manufacturing setting, especially in roles related to finishing, sanding, painting, or assembly of components.
