Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at our Houston location. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for guiding all front-of-house and back-of-house monetary and customer transactions, as well as guiding all stock activities, including inventory, organization, control, and audits.

Responsibilities:
  • Ownership: Adhere to all POS procedures, including credit card and check authorization guidelines, and process transactions accurately using correct UPC/associate information.
  • Collaboration: Use the telephone according to guidelines, answer calls in 2-3 rings, and convey professionalism and positivity.
  • Customer Centricity: Graciously acknowledge all customers and conduct all interactions courteously and professionally, enhancing the customer's experience and opinion of Salvatore Ferragamo.
  • Agility: Proactively solve problems to ensure positive outcomes as it relates to the store's POS system, processing sales efficiently and accurately in accordance with established markdown, price override, post-void, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency using technical resources for client outreach, such as POS, CRM, etc.
  • Dedication and resilience to finding solutions and timely movement of merchandise.
  • Thinking innovatively about how to improve and generate new ways of creating tangible value and magic for clients.
  • Excellent English language skills; knowledge of a second language preferred.
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred, luxury retail experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
  • Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for extended periods of time.
  • May occasionally involve stooping, sitting, kneeling, crouching, and climbing step stools.
  • Involves lifting of at least 50 lbs.
Schedule:
  • Regular and reliable attendance, normally 5 days a week.
  • Full-time schedule (37.5 hours); part-time schedule hours per week.
  • Required to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, based on store needs.
