Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Industrial Machinery Maintenance Specialist to support our operations.

Candidates with an electrical background are highly encouraged to apply.

This role involves assisting the Lead Maintenance Technician in the upkeep and repair of industrial production and processing equipment. This position is temporary-to-permanent with weekly compensation.

Full-Time

Weekly Pay: $32-$36 per hour, plus monthly bonuses, with salary increases and comprehensive benefits after the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the repair, installation, and adjustment of industrial machinery.
  • Experience with Peddinghaus CNC machines, lasers, and shears is preferred.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues with defective equipment, including CNC machinery, presses, plasma cutters, etc.
  • Conduct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC machine repairs.
  • Change motors and inspect circuit board hydraulics.
  • Maintain a complete set of necessary tools, including calipers, dial indicators, electrical meters, and other diagnostic devices.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problem areas and assist in resolving them.
  • Employ measurement devices to adhere to print tolerances and industry standards during machine repairs and assembly.
  • Engage in preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance operational uptime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Propose improvements or modifications to preventive maintenance systems and tasks when necessary.
  • Comply with standard practices and all relevant regulations regarding powered equipment.
  • Respond promptly to work order requests.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in maintaining industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic circuitry (from computer to 480VAC) is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and manuals.
  • Experience with various CNC-controlled equipment is essential.
  • Understanding of basic testing equipment and PLC logic systems is necessary.
  • A strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, and overall machine troubleshooting skills is required.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment is essential.
  • Must be capable of handling a physically demanding workload.
