Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

Role Overview:
A mechanic technician plays a crucial role in supporting lead mechanics to ensure that manufacturing or warehouse machinery is properly maintained. This role often requires working under pressure to swiftly restore equipment functionality and minimize production downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and installations on production and manufacturing machinery.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance and carry out preventative maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Utilize personal hand tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Work in environments with exposure to heat, noise, gases, and chemicals.
  • Engage in frequent physical activities including lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Be available for weekend and holiday work as required.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Performing preventative maintenance on production machinery.
  • Repairing all necessary production equipment.
  • Conducting breakdown analysis.
  • Maintaining general cleanliness of the work area.
  • Upgrading production lines with new technologies.
  • Collaborating with external contractors on assigned projects.
  • Facilitating line changes for packaging adjustments.
  • Adhering to GMP, safety, and audit protocols.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision while documenting work schedules and completed tasks.
