Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Compensation: $36.55 per hour

Contract Duration: Temporary (2-3 Months)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

Role Overview:
A Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in supporting lead mechanics to ensure that manufacturing and warehouse machinery is kept in optimal condition. This role often involves working in high-pressure situations to quickly restore equipment functionality and minimize production downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on production machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions as required.
  • Perform breakdown analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Implement upgrades to production lines with new technologies.
  • Collaborate with external contractors on assigned projects.
  • Facilitate line changes for packaging modifications.
  • Adhere to GMP, safety, and auditing standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, documenting work schedules and completed tasks.

Physical Requirements:
This position necessitates frequent physical activity, including lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling. The work environment may expose the technician to heat, noise, gases, and chemicals, and may require weekend or holiday shifts.

Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
