Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting and provide excellent support to the store management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all customers and provide assistance with merchandise and location queries.
• Utilize the S.A.L.E.S. process to help customers find products on their lists.
• Complete all company and departmental paperwork accurately, including price change bulletins and inventory reports.
• Receive, unpack, and restock merchandise, maintaining on-hand integrity through inventory adjustments.
• Display and maintain merchandise on end caps, shelves, and counters, adhering to company plan-o-gram guidelines.
• Follow nightly maintenance checklists to ensure store recovery and cleanliness.

Additional Requirements:

• Work effectively with colleagues and customers, practicing loss prevention techniques to minimize shoplifting losses.
• Maintain a working knowledge of store tools, including RF guns and back office procedures.
• Adhere to Great Lakes Ace Hardware policies and procedures for all transactions, promoting Ace Rewards membership and encouraging customer participation.

Compensation and Benefits:
