Appliance Repair Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at NANA Regional Corp. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing electrical household and commercial appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair stoves, refrigerators, dishwashing machines, and other electrical appliances.
  • Connect appliances to power sources and test meters to ensure proper function.
  • Examine appliances during operating cycles to detect excess vibration, overheating, fluid leaks, and loose parts.
  • Disassemble appliances and examine mechanical and electrical parts to identify issues.
  • Replace worn or defective parts, such as switches, pumps, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, blowers, and defective wiring.
  • Repair and adjust appliance motors, reassemble appliances, and adjust pulleys and lubricate moving parts.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in appliance repair.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.
  • High School Diploma/GED.

Desired Qualifications:

  • CFESA Certification.
  • GCSS-A Production Control Experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 60 pounds, push, pull, carry, stoop, bend, squat, and reach.
  • Ability to work in cold, hot, damp, or wet environments based on location of appliance equipment.
