Job Summary

Fort Worth Independent School District is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of electrical equipment and appliances throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain electrical equipment, including vacuums, buffers, burnishers, dehumidifiers, and other appliances.
  • Service and repair DC powered equipment, including scrubbers, golf carts, blowers, trimmers, and other devices.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor and parts used, and complete work orders as required.
  • Collaborate with mechanics to repair lawn equipment and maintain inventory of district-owned tools and equipment.
Requirements
  • Accredited High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Clear and valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License or Maintenance Electrician License preferred.
  • 3 years' experience repairing floor equipment and/or appliances.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to school district buildings and professional meetings. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
