Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse II at Duke Primary Care - Sweetwater, you will work from 8 am to 5 pm with rotating shifts, excluding weekends and holidays. Your role will involve independently planning and delivering professional nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, provide, and document nursing care in outpatient settings, adhering to physician orders and established protocols under the guidance of nursing leadership.
- Collect and evaluate patient data, recommend nursing care plans, and document nursing actions and patient responses.
- Supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers, assisting in patient care delivery and serving as a team leader.
- Monitor the care environment, ensuring the proper use of equipment and resources.
- Engage in your professional development by maintaining competencies and identifying learning needs.
- Contribute to the growth of other staff and learners.
- Participate in identifying opportunities for clinical and operational improvements.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required.
- A minimum of twelve months of relevant clinical experience is necessary, with potential exceptions for exceptional performers with six months of experience.
- Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina is mandatory, along with BLS certification.
