Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities- Drive safety, compliance, and unyielding integrity in all aspects of the job
- Build a collaborative team culture with a proactive and inclusive approach, consistent positive energy, and clear communication
- Lead and coordinate the creation and updating of design practices, functional specifications, and ordering drawing templates for the Hot SCR system
- Ensure equipment maintainability and accessibility by interfacing with PDE and suppliers for 3D model review, witnessing function and performance tests, and ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations, codes, and standards
- Improve customer responsiveness by keeping project schedules, proactively following up on supplier deviations, and timely closing out ER/NCRs
- Provide proposals for design improvement and cost reduction to enhance the competitiveness of GE offered equipment and design
- Prepare and maintain relevant design documents and databases, such as system design practices, system application guidelines, and system descriptions
- Support the CTH and TL teams to ensure on-time RCA closure and interact with customers to obtain agreement on proposed solutions
- Align with the Sourcing and Supplier Quality team to identify new suppliers and be involved in their ramp-up
- Lead and drive tools development and automation of design and project execution processes to drive productivity
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Desired characteristics include experience working with a global engineering team, self-motivation, and ability to lead the development and execution of engineering assignments
