At MRG Exams, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Evaluation Specialist to join our team in conducting independent medical assessments for United States Veterans. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through our secure Web Portal and performing comprehensive assessments on each veteran.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans by providing medical evaluations that inform disability benefit determinations. As a Medical Evaluation Specialist, you will work independently to review medical records, analyze data, and complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) within 24 hours after an exam.

We are looking for a physiatrist with excellent time management skills, proficient in finding key data points within large electronic medical records, and able to analyze data to complete DBQs and form medical opinions. Typing skills are essential, and experience with electronic documentation is a plus.

What We Offer

In addition to the opportunity to serve veterans, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This role is part-time, approximately 2-3 days per week, with an average of 4 veterans assessed per day. You will have access to our state-of-the-art Web Portal and receive ongoing training and support.

Requirements
  • Current license as a Physiatrist
  • Board Certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
