Sales and Use Tax Compliance Manager

We are looking for a skilled Sales and Use Tax Compliance Manager with a minimum of 6 years of expertise in tax compliance and strategic planning. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of sales and use tax regulations and a proven track record in managing tax filings.

Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise the preparation and submission of sales and use tax returns across various jurisdictions.
- Formulate and execute tax compliance strategies to ensure conformity with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform regular assessments of sales and use tax processes to identify and address potential risks.
- Evaluate and interpret tax laws and regulations, providing insights on their implications for the organization.
- Collaborate with different departments to resolve tax-related matters and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare and review materials for tax audits and communicate with tax authorities as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience in sales and use tax, with a solid grasp of state and local tax laws.
- Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex tax regulations and offer practical recommendations.
- Proficiency in tax software applications
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP and tax compliance software is a plus.

Employees can select coverage options that best fit their individual needs. Paid leave may encompass Sick Leave as mandated by law, along with any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local regulations, as well as holiday pay based on eligibility criteria.
