Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Permanent Tax Manager to enhance our finance team. This role presents a unique chance to influence and contribute to a flourishing department while gaining exposure to a variety of prestigious clients. Our firm specializes in providing services to local music artists, both established and emerging, as well as local entertainment venues. As a Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory activities for clients. This position offers significant opportunities for leadership and career progression for the right candidate. We are flexible with hiring at various levels and will adjust the title and compensation accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate tax audits.
2. Prepare and review tax returns for Individuals (1040), Corporations (1120), S Corporations (1120S), Partnerships (1065), and Trusts & Estates.
3. Provide a comprehensive range of tax services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Manage the tax provision and compliance processes.
5. Enhance processes by developing or implementing best practices.
6. Oversee and coordinate tax planning and research activities.
7. Maintain and update knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including new filing practices and deadlines.
