Job Overview

The Pool and Beach Manager is responsible for overseeing the pool area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for residents and guests. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the pool area, making safety announcements and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
  • Submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
  • Check and maintain sports equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
  • Report any broken equipment to the manager for replacement.
  • Work effectively as a team member to achieve common goals.
  • Be approachable and accessible to residents and guests.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out procedures accordingly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of college-level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable.
  • Two or more years of experience in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
  • Walk and climb stairs as needed.
  • Handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information through spoken and written word.
  • Ability to navigate the property quickly and easily as required.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
What We Offer

As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans. You will also receive time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Occasional travel may be required for training and company functions.

Compensation: $54,000.00 per year.
