Job Summary

The Artistic Operations Manager is a key member of the Artis-Naples team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of technical preparation and production for various events, including concerts, performances, and exhibitions. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with artists, production teams, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution
  • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Supervise and direct technical crews, including stagehands, sound and lighting technicians, and other support staff
  • Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement event concepts, designs, and technical requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with artists, agents, and other industry professionals
  • Provide support for event marketing and promotion efforts
  • Assist with event evaluation and improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as music, theater, or event management
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a production or technical role
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
