Job Title: Admissions and Alumni Engagement Coordinator, MPA Program

Job Summary: The Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to support the Master of Public Affairs Program. The Admissions and Alumni Engagement Coordinator will provide constituent-facing engagement support, conduct projects to inform program development, and represent the program through various interactions with admissions, recruitment, and alumni engagement operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day responses to program inquiries to ensure a welcoming experience throughout the application journey.
  • Manage operations for admissions events and represent the program at virtual and in-person events.
  • Maintain the program website and online channels, including social media, with guidance from the Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment.
  • Develop engaging content to encourage application, enrollment, and matriculation into the program among diverse populations.
  • Data mine alumni and career outcome data to generate insights on placement trends and alumni outcomes.
  • Manage production of tri-annual alumni newsletter and other alumni communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of related experience in higher education administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience running programs and writing content for a public audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently field inquiries and work independently.
  • Proficiency in working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and CRM software.
  • Ability to handle private and sensitive information appropriately.
