Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to enhance our Electronics Factory's operations through expert troubleshooting of PC boards. This role involves spearheading initiatives aimed at refining design and manufacturing processes, presenting a remarkable opportunity to be part of a leading entity in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complex technical investigations with significant implications.
  • Conduct capability and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) assessments to enhance quality; lead advancements in PC board testing.
  • Engineer and advocate for the safe, high-quality, cost-efficient, ergonomic, and environmentally sustainable production of PC boards.
  • Create and refine documentation and troubleshooting manuals for new product launches.
  • Proactively address and resolve challenges in testing, manufacturing, and design to facilitate production.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance first-pass yield rates.
  • Collaborate effectively with R&D, Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other personnel to elevate the quality and manufacturability of PC board designs.
  • Engage professionally with external partners, including equipment suppliers and technical organizations.
  • Evaluate and implement employee suggestions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform cost analysis and initiate strategies for cost reduction.
  • Develop and continuously improve training resources and work instructions for production staff.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an electronics engineering discipline with over 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of board design and associated tools.
  • Proficient in reading and creating electrical schematics.
  • Strong command of Lean methodology tools to foster continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively, demonstrating excellent organizational skills to manage diverse assignments and shifting priorities.
  • Possess extensive knowledge and experience that contributes positively to service levels, quality, and value within the Electronics Factory.
