Job Title: Medical Imaging Specialist

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
  • Process images and review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment; assist with troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment and systems as directed by Company management or Service Department personnel.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is well stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations related to portable imaging procedures and standards.
  • Perform training and orientation of other employees upon request by management.
  • Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to travel locally to diagnose patients in their own homes or at a facility.
  • Ability to operate portable radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Ability to work safely, without causing harm or risk to self, others or property.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the use of company computers, systems, programs and digital x-ray technology.
