Job Description

This is a per diem position working Tuesday to Saturday 1 pm-10 pm in our Clinical Services department. The Peer Recovery Specialist will support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders and mental health conditions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the last three years with at least 12 months total of successful or part/full-time paid or voluntary work experience, acquired or meeting the qualifications for certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist, and active certification in good standing.

You will be responsible for responding to community response calls, maintaining project logs, assisting with problem-solving and de-escalation, providing education, and promoting self-advocacy. You'll also identify and support linkages to community resources, connections to mutual self-help groups, and long-term engagement with recovering individuals.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma/GED required
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Must have worked within the last three years with at least 12 months total of successful or part/full-time paid or voluntary work experience
  • Active Certification: Certified Recovery Specialist required; must acquire within 6 months of employment
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits including 401K with matching employer contribution, medical, dental, vision, HSA Spending Accounts, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability/LTD, and an Employee Assistance Program.
