Avera Behavioral Health Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Adult C Unit. As a nurse specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a supportive environment for adults struggling with mental health issues.

About the Position
  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult C Unit
  • Location: Avera Behavioral Health Center
  • Shifts: Combination of 4, 8, and 12 hour shifts
Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our Adult C Unit, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care to adults with mental health conditions
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to promote patient recovery and well-being
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota or meeting multi-state licensure requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Certification in specialty area strongly encouraged
  • Membership in a professional organization encouraged
Benefits

  • Hourly range: $32.00 - $46.50 per hour
  • Shift differential available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, weekends, and weekend nights
