Job Title: Dishwasher

At Dave & Buster's, we're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher. As a key member of our cleaning and sanitation team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all dishware, flatware, and glassware to ensure they are free from food residue and bacteria.
  • Sort and store all dishware and flatware to prevent loss or damage.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Assist other kitchen staff members with pressure point relief during peak periods.
  • Participate in line maintenance, sweeping, and clearing dirty dishes to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen.
  • Assist with some prep and banquet items as directed by management.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls, and drains to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of kitchen storage areas, cleanliness, and stocking to ensure a well-organized and efficient kitchen.
  • Clean and maintain all mats to prevent slipping and falling hazards.
  • Assist other Team Members as needed or when business demands dictate.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not required.
  • Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.
  • Must be disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times.

Working Conditions:
  • Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
  • Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
  • Read and write handwritten notes.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.
  • Walk or stand 100% of shift.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently.

Compensation:
  • Compensation is from $16 - $18.25 per hour.
