Environmental Specialist

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Scientist/Biologist to join our Houston, Texas team. As a key member of our environmental team, you will provide support on various environmental projects throughout Texas and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct wetland delineations and site investigations
- Perform field surveys, water quality assessments, and species-specific surveys
- Develop and implement mitigation monitoring plans
- Prepare reports, permit applications, and plant community maps
- Manage databases and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- BS degree or equivalent in a multi-disciplined science, including biology, forestry, wildlife, natural resource management, or environmental planning
- Three plus years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- Proven ability in field data collection and analysis, and technical writing
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and ArcGIS
