Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
Act as the initial point of contact for customers. You will represent our brand as the first person customers interact with, so it is crucial to create a positive impression through your appearance and the store's ambiance.
Provide exceptional assistance. While your role involves selling retail products and services, it extends beyond that. You will deliver comprehensive and accurate information and foster lasting relationships with customers, encouraging repeat visits through your friendly service.
Contribute to business growth. Your efforts will be vital in generating profits beyond daily sales. We will depend on you to identify and promote value-added and upselling opportunities. Additionally, you will assist in generating leads for both new and existing sales prospects.
Maintain an appealing store environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the retail space is well-presented. This includes organizing displays and signage, keeping products well-stocked, and ensuring the overall aesthetic of the store is inviting.

As you will be providing information to beginners, a willingness to learn is crucial to effectively guide customers in their gear selections.
Required Skills and Experience
Prior experience in a retail setting or a solid background in scuba is necessary. Having both retail and scuba experience will give you a competitive edge.
Knowledge of swimming or experience in an aquatics program is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills are vital to ensure our DiVentures family is satisfied and equipped with the right gear for their swimming or scuba adventures. Patience and exceptional communication skills are essential to assist newcomers in their swimming and scuba journeys.
