Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aircraft Records Specialist to join our team at Reach Medical Holdings. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of aircraft records, while also providing support to our Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Perform routine data entry functions, create and prepare standard and recurring reports, and obtain data from electronic systems as required.
  • Data Analysis and Presentation: Manipulate and present data for management upon request, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information.
  • Record Verification and Compliance: Perform routine analysis on aircraft records and documentation to ensure accuracy and proper completion, while also tracking information on specific tasks accomplished at base level.
  • Supply Chain Support: Work with Supply Chain to identify components that require historical information prior to being sent out for service, and track component changes to ensure receipt of proper documentation to complete records.
  • Record Retrieval and Maintenance: Pull aircraft records as requested by other departments, maintain scanned records as required, and distribute upon request.
  • Quality Control: Receive and file aircraft logbook pages, component cards, and 8130s received into the Quality Control Department, and verify accuracy.
  • Record Review and Compliance: Review Engine, Airframe, and component records for accuracy and compliance as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail, planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, management, and customers.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently, problem solve, manage priorities, and workflows.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Possess strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database experience.
  • Aircraft Terminology Knowledge: Have knowledge of aircraft terminology.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven Record-Keeping Skills: Proven knowledge and ability to organize official records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Aircraft Records Department: 3-5 years of experience in an aircraft records department or similar role in the aviation industry.
  • Aircraft Compliance Tracking Software: Experience with aircraft compliance tracking software.
  • Airbus, Textron Aircraft Maintenance Programs: Knowledge of Airbus, Textron aircraft maintenance programs.
  • FAA Airframe Powerplant License: FAA Airframe Powerplant License.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
