Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Perform account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports, providing clear and accurate financial information to management.
  • Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and deadlines are met.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, providing necessary information and documentation to auditors.
  • Develop and implement internal control processes to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Manage prepaid, accruals, and property tax schedules, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, general ledger, and account reconciliation.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Experience in assisting with the annual audit process and developing internal control processes.
  • Ability to manage prepaid, accruals, and property tax schedules.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
