Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UW Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging exams on patients of all ages, including adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
  • Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License upon hire.
  • CPR certification required within three months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Radiology certification.
  • ARST Bone Densitometry Technologist (BD) or ISCD Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) within 1 year of completing orientation.
