About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist - MRI Specialist to join our team at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing technical imaging examinations and complex procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging examinations and procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Work independently with patients of all ages and in various locations.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving.
  • Collaborate with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Participate in the instruction of other healthcare professionals and may participate in clinical research.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Previous healthcare experience.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid Wisconsin Radiological License.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
  • MRI certification within 30 months of hire.
