As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and advancing our company's mission to deliver high-quality products and solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, initiate, and perform experiments to characterize complex polymeric systems
- Develop structure/property/performance relationships for new product development
- Compile, analyze, and interpret analytical data, and present research work to internal and external audiences
- Manage and support multiple projects, estimate timelines and resources, and coordinate efforts to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with other R&D sites and technical support teams to solve challenging technical problems for customers
- MS/PhD degree in polymer physics, materials science, analytical chemistry, or related discipline
- Strong competency in applied rheology of both models and experimentation to understand structure/properties relationship of polymers, materials, and formulations
- Hands-on skills in sample preparation and materials characterization
- Technical writing and oral presentation skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- 1-2 years of relevant industrial experience
- Experience in thermal analysis (i.e., DSC) and microscopy (i.e., AFM)
- Experience in chromatography (i.e., SEC/GPC)
- Experience in numerical analysis and image processing
