Position Summary / Career Interest:
The University of Kansas Health System is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) to assume the role of program director. This individual will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and high-quality healthcare to the community. We provide a collaborative and supportive work environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
The ideal program director will exhibit clinical and scholarly proficiency in MFM, evidenced by the publication of original research in peer-reviewed journals within the last three years. Additionally, candidates should have at least one of the following achievements in the same timeframe:
- Extramural peer-reviewed funding
- Invited or research presentations at regional, national, or international scientific meetings
- Active participation in national or international committees or educational organizations
About Our Fellowship:
Accredited since 2017, our fellowship has maintained good standing and continues to receive annual accreditation from the ACGME. The educational framework includes didactic sessions led by specialists from both within and outside the obstetrics field. Our fellows engage in research through our division's collaboration with the Institute for Reproduction and Perinatal Research, presenting their findings at national and international forums. Graduates of our program emerge with diverse experiences, successfully transitioning into academic and private practice roles.
