Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. A minimum of 6 months of experience in an ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) setting or successful completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
Responsibilities:
~ Delivering comprehensive patient care at the highest level by utilizing the nursing process.
~ Demonstrating expertise by mentoring new healthcare professionals and/or UCHealth staff.
~ Ensuring safety and quality at the point of care.
Critical Care Responsibilities:
Providing direct care in a technically advanced environment, including Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) levels of care.
~ Implementing evidence-based care models, including AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards.
