Job Summary

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections of our aircraft and articles in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins.
  • Verify the accuracy of component and assembly installations or removals by checking part numbers and serial numbers.
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and maintenance manuals.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement phase of our Safety Management System (SMS) and be familiar with SMS policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training.
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
  • FAR 135 operations preferred.
Skills:
  • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing.
  • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand various documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, AD's, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • RAMCO experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • FAA A&P License in good standing.
